Hackers Attack Woman’s Twitter Hours After PM Modi Follows Her, Send Him DMs On Kashmir indiatoday.in
Twitter account of a Kolkata-based woman was hacked on Wednesday, hours after she was followed by PM Narendra Modi on the social media platform. The hacker who took control of her account used her handle to post demeaning and “false” messages about her close friends and even sent direct messages to Narendra Modi’s account, the woman told IndiaToday.in.
For the woman — 36-year-old Seemantini Bose who works in digital marketing — it was her “worst nightmare come true” and something that she had never undergone before. Bose described a night of hell as her friends reached out to her asking her about the strange tweets and messages being sent from her Twitter account.
Bose says her ordeal began at around 2 am when she was scrolling through her Twitter feed just hours after being followed by PM Narendra Modi’s personal account @narendramodi. Suddenly, Bose says, she started receiving text messages with one-time passwords meant to let her log in to her Twitter account.
